No Clarification Statements

It seems that we want kids to know THAT people do things to help protect Earth's resources, but there is nothing there about knowing HOW people do this.

It appears that kids need to be able to use information about how people are trying to "use science" to protect the environment and then "combine information."

Question Ideas:

It seems as if we will have to do some research about how people "use science" to protect Earth's resources. Assessments will have to present this information, then ask the test taker to extrapolate off this to try to come up with a way to apply this.
