Module: Uses of Natural Resources
DCI: ESS3.A (B) Natural Resources – Humans use natural resources
for everything they do.
PE: K-ESS3-1 Use a model to represent the relationship between the
needs of different plants or animals (including humans) and the places they
live.
No Clarification Statements:
What we have here is another standard that asks that kids know that something is true. Kids should know THAT humans use natural resources, but not, necessarily HOW humans use resources.
The connection to the PE implies that kids should be able to draw some connection between the natural resources that humans use, and their needs as living things.
